What is ORAC?

ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. It's a lab test to quantify the "total antioxidant capacity" (TAC) of a food or antioxidant substance. It is a direct measure of how efficiently an antioxidant can eliminate dangerous free radicals and reduce unhealthy oxidative stress.

How much ORAC do we need daily?

It really depends on your personal external & internal body health factors.

External factors. Human lifestyle and the surrounding living environment have a significant impact on the amount of free radicals humans generate. Urban city air pollution, cigarette smoke, and food-related pesticides and chemical fertilizers greatly increase the production of harmful body free radicals.

Internal factors. Includes genetics, body weight & body fat content, daily exercise activity, and personal diet. It is estimated that men need at least 11,000 ORAC units daily. Women, who eat about 700 fewer calories than men per day, should get at least 8,000 daily ORAC units.

How it works

HXT. Nature's most potent antioxidant.

Heading 2

3438876.jpg

Hydroxytyrosol (HXT) is nature’s most powerful and bioavailable antioxidant – more than 75% of each daily dose actually reaches every cell in the human body.

AOLife’s hydroxytyrosol is a phenolic antioxidant compound that is directly extracted from the Olea europaea L. fruit and leaves by mechanical pressing, without any chemicals or solvents whatsoever. It is considered to be nature’s most powerful bioavailable antioxidant compound. Due to its unique molecular structure, HXT has been scientifically demonstrated (see published References Page and the FAQ Section) to be the major health-providing cornerstone of the most healthy lifestyle diet in the world, the Mediterranean Diet. HXT has documented major health-beneficial and life-prolonging properties: antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, true anti-aging, prevents cardiovascular disease (heart attack, stroke), lowers blood pressure and LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, anti-cancer and anti-tumor, anti-diabetic (lowers fasting blood sugar and HbA1c), weight loss, neuroprotection, enhanced synthesis and preservation of skin collagen and elastin, antiviral, antimicrobial, pro-immunity, preservation of body muscle mass, sports post-exercise recovery enhancement, and sleep quality regulation.

Get a beautiful you from within.
